Safety and data
What ReviseWell does with student work today
What we record
Every answer, mark and chat message a student enters is saved against their account, so teachers can see the work behind each mark.
Who sees student answers
The student, the teachers of their class, and ReviseWell staff when they need to help with support. Parents don't see school accounts.
The AI marker
Answers are marked by third-party AI models. No student name, email or ID is sent to the marker, and we don't use your data to train models. Our providers are listed on the subprocessors page.
Content filtering
Student answers are not filtered or monitored for safeguarding concerns today. The AI assistant has guards against prompt injection, but it is not a safeguarding tool.
Ages and sign-up
School students join through their teacher's class code. Students signing up on their own must confirm they are 13 or over.
Your data rights
Email contact@revisewell.net to get a copy of a student's data or have it deleted. We do this within one month.
We are working towards the Department for Education's generative AI product safety standards. We don't claim to meet them yet. See also our privacy policy and subprocessors.
